Formwork Specialist



As a Formwork Specialist, you will be responsible for constructing and installing formwork structures for concrete foundations, walls, and slabs. Your expertise in creating accurate formwork shapes and sizes will be crucial to ensure the structural integrity of the final concrete structure. This part-time position in Braga does not require accommodation.

Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the formwork requirements for each project
- Layout and measure formwork materials accurately according to engineering drawings
- Construct and install formwork structures using various materials such as wood, metal, and plastic
- Ensure that formwork is properly braced and supported to withstand the weight of wet concrete
- Monitor the placement of reinforcement bars within the formwork to ensure proper positioning within the final concrete structure
- Remove formwork after the concrete has cured and inspect for any defects or damage
- Clean and maintain all tools and equipment used in the construction of formwork structures

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Formworker or similar role in construction
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings and blueprints
- Proficient in using hand tools such as saws, drills, hammers, etc.
- Excellent mathematical skills for accurate measurement calculations
- Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions
- Physically fit with good manual dexterity
- Attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship

Salary:
This part-time position offers a salary of $1000 per month.
