Freelance Interpreter in Beer-Sheva, Egypt

As a freelance interpreter in Beer-Sheva, Egypt, you will be responsible for providing language interpretation services for clients in various settings. This may include business meetings, conferences, legal proceedings, medical appointments, and more. You will need to possess excellent communication skills and the ability to accurately convey meaning between two languages. Previous experience as an interpreter is required and fluency in both English and Egyptian Arabic is preferred. This is a contract job with a salary of $1000 per month. Accommodation will be provided and you must have your own visa to work in Egypt.

As an interpreter, your main duties will include listening to speakers of one language and interpreting their words into another language for the client or audience. You may need to interpret simultaneously or consecutively depending on the setting. You must also possess excellent note-taking skills as you may need to refer back to your notes during the interpretation process.

To be successful in this role, you must have a deep understanding of both cultures and languages involved. This will allow you to accurately convey not just words but also cultural nuances and idiomatic expressions. You must also have strong research skills as you may encounter technical or specialized terminology that requires further explanation.

In addition to interpreting, you will also be responsible for managing any necessary equipment for interpretation such as microphones or headsets. You must ensure that all equipment is functioning properly before each session.

As this is a freelance position, you will have the flexibility to choose your own schedule based on client demand. However, you must be able to work under pressure and handle high-stress situations calmly and professionally.

Requirements:
