Typesetter for English Language Publishing Company in Kaunas, Lithuania

We are a well-established English language publishing company based in Kaunas, Lithuania. We are currently seeking a skilled Typesetter to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a great opportunity for someone with a passion for typography and design to work on various print and digital publications.

As our Typesetter, you will be responsible for formatting and arranging text, images, and other elements to create aesthetically pleasing and readable layouts. Your attention to detail and understanding of design principles will be crucial in ensuring that our publications are of the highest quality.

Key responsibilities:
- Work closely with editors, designers, and other team members to produce high-quality layouts for print and digital publications
- Format text and images according to established design standards
- Ensure accuracy of page numbers, headers/footers, table of contents, etc.
- Make necessary adjustments to ensure consistent formatting throughout the publication
- Use appropriate software (such as Adobe InDesign) to layout pages
- Collaborate with printers or digital publishers to ensure proper output of final product
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to typesetting and design

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Typesetter or similar role in the publishing industry
- Strong proficiency in Adobe InDesign or other relevant software
- Excellent attention to detail
- Understanding of design principles such as typography, layout, color theory, etc.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
- Strong communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in graphic design or related field (preferred)

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1200$ per month.

Location:
This is a full-time position based in Kaunas, Lithuania. Applicants must already have legal authorization to work in Lithuania.
