Preservation Architect (Nepali/Kenyan) in Siauliai, Lithuania
As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historical and culturally significant structures in the city of Siauliai, Lithuania. Your main duties will include conducting site surveys, preparing preservation plans, overseeing restoration projects, and ensuring compliance with local regulations and preservation standards.
To be successful in this role, you should have a strong knowledge of architectural principles and techniques, as well as experience working on historical preservation projects. You must also possess excellent project management skills and be able to collaborate effectively with a team of professionals.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture
- Minimum of 3 years experience working on historical preservation projects
- Strong knowledge of architectural principles and techniques
- Excellent project management skills
- Familiarity with local regulations and preservation standards
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills (in Nepali or Kenyan)
- Willingness to relocate to Siauliai, Lithuania
Responsibilities:
- Conduct site surveys to assess the condition of historical structures
- Develop preservation plans that address necessary repairs and modifications while maintaining historical integrity
- Oversee restoration projects from start to finish, ensuring compliance with local regulations and preservation standards
- Collaborate with other architects, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders throughout the restoration process
- Conduct regular progress meetings and provide updates on project status to relevant parties
- Monitor project budgets and timelines to ensure successful completion within allocated resources
- Conduct research on historical structures and materials used in order to inform restoration plans
- Communicate effectively with clients, government agencies, and other stakeholders involved in the restoration process
