Preservation Architect - Fonvieille, Monaco



We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Preservation Architect to join our team in Fonvieille, Monaco. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historic buildings and structures while ensuring they meet modern safety and building codes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct thorough assessments of historic buildings and structures to determine necessary repairs and restoration work
- Create detailed preservation plans that adhere to local laws, regulations, and guidelines
- Work closely with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to oversee restoration projects
- Use historic building materials and techniques to ensure the authenticity of the restoration work
- Monitor progress of restoration projects and make adjustments as needed
- Document all preservation work for future reference
- Collaborate with local organizations and communities to educate them on the importance of preserving historic structures

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience in preservation architecture or a similar role
- Extensive knowledge of historic building materials, techniques, and regulations
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate drawings and plans
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with various professionals and stakeholders
- Passion for preserving history and cultural heritage

Salary: $1800 per month (negotiable based on experience)

Working Hours: Full-time (40 hours per week)

Location: Fonvieille, Monaco

Accommodation: We do not provide accommodation for this role. Applicants must have their own accommodations in Fonvieille or be willing to relocate.
