Indian Executive Chef
We are currently seeking a talented and passionate Indian Executive Chef to join our team in Los Angeles. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of our Indian restaurant's kitchen operations. This is a contract job with a salary of 1700$ per month.
Requirements:
- Must be of Indian nationality
- Fluent in English language
- At least 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef in an Indian restaurant
- Strong leadership skills and ability to manage a team effectively
- Creative and innovative in developing new dishes and menus
- Knowledgeable in traditional and modern Indian cuisine
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Responsibilities:
- Develop menus that showcase the best of Indian cuisine, while also catering to customers' preferences and dietary restrictions
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure high quality standards are maintained at all times
- Manage inventory, order supplies, and maintain cost control measures to ensure profitability of the restaurant
- Train and supervise kitchen staff on proper food handling techniques and ensure safety regulations are followed at all times
- Create schedules for kitchen staff, monitor their performance, and provide feedback when necessary
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area
