Executive Chef - Indian Cuisine (Los Angeles, USA)
We are seeking a highly skilled Executive Chef with expertise in Indian cuisine to join our team in Los Angeles. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen operations, creating and implementing menus, managing staff, and ensuring top-quality food and service.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and create authentic Indian dishes for our restaurant menu
- Manage kitchen staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling
- Oversee food preparation and ensure high quality and consistency
- Control inventory levels and ordering supplies as needed
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and adhere to sanitation standards
- Collaborate with management to develop new menu items and special promotions
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef in a fine dining restaurant specializing in Indian cuisine
- In-depth knowledge of Indian cooking techniques, spices, and ingredients
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate a team
- Excellent communication skills to effectively manage staff and collaborate with management
- Proven track record of creating innovative menus while maintaining quality standards
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong organizational skills
Salary: $1500 per month (negotiable based on experience)
