Network and Systems Administrator


We are hiring a Network and Systems Administrator to join our team in Kaunas, Lithuania. As a Network and Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining and managing our company's network infrastructure and computer systems. You will work closely with our IT team to ensure the smooth operation of our network and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.

Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware and software including routers, switches, firewalls, and servers.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, email addresses, and security settings.
- Ensure data backup systems are in place and perform regular backups.
- Upgrade systems with new releases and models as needed.
- Troubleshoot computer hardware and software problems reported by employees.
- Keep track of inventory of hardware, software licenses, and equipment.
- Provide technical support to employees regarding network or system issues.
- Maintain security protocols to protect company data from external threats.
- Collaborate with other departments to identify their technology needs.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field preferred.
- Proven experience as a Network or Systems Administrator or similar role.
- Knowledge of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP.
- Experience with operating systems such as Windows Server, Linux/Unix.
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware or Hyper-V).
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to think critically under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills in English (Lithuanian language proficiency is a plus).
