Metal Fabricator and Welder

We are hiring a skilled Metal Fabricator and Welder to join our team in Os, Norway. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating and welding metal parts according to blueprints and specifications. You will also be responsible for operating various tools and equipment to cut, shape, and join metal pieces.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Measure and mark dimensions on metal pieces
- Cut, shape, and bend metal pieces using various tools such as saws, shears, and presses
- Weld or solder metal pieces together using various methods such as MIG, TIG, or arc welding
- Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet specifications
- Operate machinery such as grinders and drills to smooth out rough edges or create holes in metal pieces
- Repair metal parts by welding or brazing broken pieces together
- Follow all safety procedures when working with hot metals and operating machinery

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Metal Worker or similar role
- Proficient in reading blueprints and technical drawings
- Skilled in operating various tools such as saws, shears, presses, grinders, etc.
- Experience with different welding techniques (MIG/TIG/arc)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects (up to 50lbs)
- Attention to detail for accurate measurement and fabrication of metal parts

Education:
A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Additional vocational training or certification in welding or metalworking is preferred.

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1400 per month.

Location:
This full-time position is located in Os, Norway.
