Turner for Metal Fabrication Company in Vilnius, Lithuania



We are a metal fabrication company located in Vilnius, Lithuania and we are seeking a skilled Turner to join our team. As a Turner, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various machines used in the fabrication of metal products.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain lathes, milling machines, grinders, and other metalworking equipment
- Read and interpret technical drawings to determine specifications and requirements
- Measure and mark materials to be cut or shaped
- Use hand tools and precision measuring instruments to shape and finish parts
- Inspect finished parts for accuracy and quality
- Troubleshoot any issues with machinery or finished products
- Communicate with supervisors and team members regarding production schedules and any potential delays or problems
- Comply with all safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Turner in a metal fabrication setting
- Strong knowledge of various types of machinery and their functions
- Ability to read technical drawings and use precision measuring instruments
- Experience with hand tools such as drills, saws, hammers, etc.
- Physically fit with the ability to stand for long periods of time, lift heavy objects, and work in a noisy environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills in English (Lithuanian language skills are an asset)
- Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1200 per month.
