Electrical Engineer - Lom, Kenya



We are a leading construction company looking for an experienced, motivated and skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team in Lom, Kenya. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining electrical systems and components to required specifications. You will also collaborate with other engineers and professionals to ensure projects are completed within budget and on time.

Responsibilities:
- Designing electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, fire alarms and communication systems
- Developing plans, specifications and estimates for electrical projects
- Conducting site surveys to determine project requirements
- Preparing project proposals and technical reports
- Ensuring compliance with local building codes and safety regulations
- Collaborating with other engineers, architects and contractors to ensure project success
- Troubleshooting electrical issues and providing solutions
- Managing project budgets and timelines
- Providing technical support during construction phase

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical engineering or related field
- Knowledge of electrical design software such as AutoCAD or Revit
- Strong understanding of local building codes and safety regulations
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience in project management is preferred

Salary:
This position offers a competitive salary of $1200 per month along with benefits including accommodation.
