Historic Preservation Architect
Location: Multan, Pakistan

The Historic Preservation Architect will be responsible for preserving and restoring historic buildings and structures in Multan, Pakistan. This role requires a strong understanding of architectural history, building materials and techniques, and preservation standards and guidelines. The ideal candidate will have a passion for preserving cultural heritage and the ability to work independently on restoration projects. This is an entry-level position suitable for freshers with a biometric passport.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting research on the history of buildings and structures to inform restoration plans
- Creating preservation plans that adhere to local and international standards
- Identifying appropriate materials and methods for restoration projects
- Collaborating with construction teams to oversee the implementation of preservation plans
- Conducting regular inspections of historic buildings to assess their condition and identify maintenance needs
- Documenting all restoration work and maintaining accurate records
- Staying updated on new preservation techniques, materials, and guidelines
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
- Knowledge of architectural history, preservation principles, and building materials
- Familiarity with local preservation laws and guidelines
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and other technical drawings
- Excellent project management skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good communication skills
