Long Haul Truck Driver

As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials over long distances. Your main duties will include loading and unloading cargo, planning and following routes, and ensuring the safe delivery of goods. This position requires a high level of physical fitness, as well as strong communication and time-management skills. You must also have a valid commercial driver's license (CDL) and a clean driving record. Previous experience in truck driving is preferred but not required. Responsibilities:
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment
- Plan routes to ensure timely delivery of goods
- Follow traffic laws and regulations while operating the vehicle
- Communicate with dispatchers, other drivers, and customers to provide updates on delivery status
- Perform routine maintenance checks on the truck to ensure it is in good working condition
- Keep accurate records of mileage, fuel usage, and hours worked
- Adhere to company safety policies at all times

Requirements:
- Valid CDL with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects
- Excellent communication skills in English (knowledge of other languages is a plus)
- Time-management skills and the ability to meet deadlines
- Familiarity with GPS devices and electronic logging systems is preferred but not required

Salary: $1000 per month

Location: Nakuru, Kenya (preference for Indian nationals)

Note: This position does not require fluency in English. All training materials will be provided in Hindi or other Indian languages.
