Instrument Technician
We are currently hiring an experienced Instrument Technician to join our team in Nakuru. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in instrumentation, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in the field. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various types of instruments and equipment used in industrial settings.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and calibration of instruments
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with instruments and equipment
- Install new instruments and ensure they are functioning properly
- Keep detailed records of all repairs and maintenance performed
- Collaborate with other technicians to troubleshoot complex issues
- Stay up-to-date on industry standards and advancements in instrument technology
- Adhere to safety protocols at all times while working with electrical equipment
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Instrument Technician
- Diploma or certificate in instrumentation or a related field preferred
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and circuits
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Salary: $1500 per month (negotiable based on experience)
