We are hiring a qualified and experienced Librarian to join our team in Malindi, Kenya. The ideal candidate will be Indian national with a passion for literature and a strong knowledge of library science. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1700$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the library, including organizing and cataloging materials, maintaining the collection, and assisting patrons.
- Develop and implement library programs and services to meet the needs of the community.
- Provide reference and research assistance to students, faculty, and other library users.
- Keep up-to-date with current trends in library science and technology, and make recommendations for improvements to the library.
- Train and supervise library assistants or volunteers.
- Collaborate with teachers to integrate information literacy skills into their curriculum.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years experience working in a library setting.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Proficient in computer programs used in libraries.
