Pastry Chef - Vilnius, Lithuania
We are seeking a talented and creative Pastry Chef to join our team at a fine dining restaurant in Vilnius, Lithuania. As the Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and preparing delicious desserts and pastries that will satisfy our customers' taste buds. Your role will also involve managing inventory, ordering supplies, and maintaining a clean and organized work area. The ideal candidate should have previous experience as a pastry chef in a high-end restaurant or hotel, as well as strong leadership skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create unique and visually appealing dessert menus that complement the restaurant's overall concept
- Prepare all desserts and pastries with precision and attention to detail
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry kitchen
- Train and supervise junior pastry chefs
- Ensure food safety standards are met at all times
- Collaborate with other chefs to develop new menu items
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef in a fine dining establishment or luxury hotel
- Culinary degree or equivalent training from a recognized institution
- Excellent knowledge of various dessert techniques, ingredients, and flavors
- Attention to detail and artistic flair for plating desserts
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train others effectively
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
Salary:
The salary for this position is $1600 per month.
