Senior Accountant


We are a leading accounting firm in Atlanta, seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant with experience in managing financial transactions and overseeing financial processes. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and analytical skills, as well as a strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for preparing financial statements, analyzing budgets and variances, and providing financial advice to clients. This is a full-time position that requires at least 3-5 years of experience in accounting or a related field. Indian nationals with biometric passports are preferred.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Analyze budgets and variances to identify discrepancies and areas for improvement
- Provide financial advice to clients based on their individual needs and goals
- Oversee financial processes such as accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and tax preparation
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations
- Communicate complex financial information to non-financial colleagues or clients in an easily understandable manner
- Train and supervise junior accounting staff

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- CPA certification preferred
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounting or finance
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel
- Experience with biometric passports is a plus

Salary:
This is a full-time position with a competitive salary of $1700 per month.

Location:
This job is located in Atlanta, but remote work may be considered for the right candidate.
