Typesetter

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Typesetter to join our publishing team in Karachi. In this role, you will be responsible for formatting and arranging text and images into visually appealing layouts for print and digital publications.

Responsibilities:
- Utilize software programs such as Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator to typeset text and images according to project specifications
- Ensure accuracy of text, including spelling, grammar, and punctuation
- Collaborate with editors, designers, and other team members to create high-quality layouts for books, magazines, brochures, and other publications
- Meet tight deadlines while maintaining high standards of quality control
- Make necessary adjustments to layout based on feedback from internal or external parties
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in typesetting software

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a typesetter or in a similar position
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment

Salary:
We are offering a competitive salary of 1400$ per month for this full-time position.

Location:
This job is located in Karachi. While we do not provide accommodation or visa sponsorship at this time, we welcome applicants who already have their own visa.
