Entry-Level Locksmith


As an Entry-Level Locksmith, you will be responsible for assisting senior locksmiths in providing lock installation, repair, and maintenance services to clients in Fonvieille and surrounding areas. You will learn the necessary skills and techniques to become a skilled locksmith through on-the-job training and mentorship from experienced professionals. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is interested in a career as a locksmith but may not have previous experience.

Responsibilities:
- Assist senior locksmiths with installing, repairing, and maintaining locks for residential and commercial properties
- Learn how to properly use locksmith tools such as key cutters, pick sets, and lock drills
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating with clients to understand their needs and concerns
- Keep accurate records of work performed including time spent on each job and materials used
- Maintain a clean work area and properly handle all tools and equipment
- Adhere to safety protocols at all times

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong manual dexterity and mechanical skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Willingness to learn new techniques and methods
- Valid driver's license

Preferred:
- Previous experience working with hand tools or in a trade profession
- Basic understanding of lock mechanisms
- Familiarity with different types of locks such as pin tumbler, wafer tumbler, etc.

Salary: $1100/month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Fonvieille (accommodation not provided)
