Electrician - Residential and Commercial (Nakuru, Kenya)


We are in search of a skilled and experienced Electrician to join our team in Nakuru, Kenya. As an Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in both residential and commercial buildings. This includes wiring, lighting, fixtures, and appliances. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical codes and safety protocols, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1600$ per month.

Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain and repair electrical systems in residential and commercial buildings
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and provide solutions
- Read blueprints or technical diagrams to determine wiring layouts
- Install electrical wiring, lighting systems, and fixtures according to code
- Inspect electrical components to identify hazards or defects
- Repair or replace faulty wiring or equipment
- Collaborate with other professionals such as engineers or architects to complete projects on time

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Electrician (minimum 3 years)
- Ability to read technical diagrams and blueprints
- Knowledge of local electrical codes and safety protocols
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Physical ability to work at heights or in confined spaces if required

Education/Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED required (technical diploma or apprenticeship program preferred)
- Valid electrician license/certification from relevant authority
