Mine Operations Assistant

As a Mine Operations Assistant in Nakuru, you will be responsible for providing support to the mining team to ensure smooth and efficient operations. This role requires a strong attention to detail, ability to work in a physically demanding environment, and experience in the mining industry.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in all aspects of mine operations, including equipment maintenance, drilling, blasting, and hauling
- Conduct regular safety inspections and follow all safety protocols
- Monitor equipment performance and report any issues to the Mine Operations Manager
- Participate in training programs to develop skills and knowledge related to mine operations
- Maintain accurate records of production data and equipment maintenance
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient use of resources
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and company policies

Requirements:
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in mining is preferred
- At least 3 years of experience working in a mine environment
- Physically fit and able to work in a physically demanding environment
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures related to mining operations

Salary: $1100 per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Nakuru, Kenya (preference for Indian nationals)

Employment Type: Part-time (20 hours per week)

Note: This is a physically demanding job that may require working long hours and weekends. Fluency in English is not required but is preferred. Training will be provided for non-native English speakers.
