Data Mining Analyst


We are currently seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Data Mining Analyst to join our team in Almada, Portugal. This is a contract position with a salary of 1800$. As a Data Mining Analyst, you will be responsible for collecting, organizing, and analyzing large sets of data to identify patterns and insights that can inform business decisions.

Responsibilities:
- Collect and compile data from various sources using data mining tools and techniques
- Identify relevant variables and determine the appropriate methods for data analysis
- Clean and organize data to ensure accuracy and consistency
- Analyze large datasets to identify patterns, trends, and correlations
- Create visualizations and reports to present findings in a clear and concise manner
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop strategies based on data insights
- Continuously monitor data quality and make recommendations for improvement
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in data mining techniques

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field
- Proven experience in data mining or related field
- Proficient in SQL, Python/R, Excel, Tableau or other data analysis tools
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively present findings to non-technical stakeholders
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with cross-functional teams

Preferred:
- Master's degree in Data Science or related field
- Knowledge of machine learning techniques
- Experience working with large datasets
