Cleaner (Contract)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Cleaner to join our team in Malindi on a contract basis. As a Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of various areas within our organization, including offices, common spaces, and restrooms. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys working independently.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general cleaning tasks such as dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
- Clean and sanitize restrooms
- Restock supplies as needed
- Report any maintenance or safety issues to the appropriate personnel
- Follow all health and safety protocols

Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a cleaner or similar role
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage, and disposal methods
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks
- Good communication skills in English (additional languages considered an asset)

Working Conditions:
This is a contract position with an expected duration of 3 months. The work schedule will be Monday-Friday from 8am-4pm. The salary is $1700 per month.
