Head Chef - Luxury Ski Resort (Bansko, Bulgaria)



We are seeking a talented and experienced Executive Chef to lead our culinary team at a luxury ski resort in Bansko, Bulgaria. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for creating and executing high-quality menus, managing kitchen operations, and maintaining food and hygiene standards. You will oversee a team of chefs and kitchen staff, ensuring smooth operations and exceptional dining experiences for our guests.

Responsibilities:
- Develop innovative menus with a focus on local ingredients and seasonal produce
- Manage all aspects of kitchen operations including food preparation, cooking, inventory management, and budgeting
- Ensure quality control of all dishes served
- Train and supervise kitchen staff to maintain high standards of food preparation and presentation
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen according to local regulations
- Collaborate with other departments to plan special events or promotions
- Monitor food costs by maintaining accurate records of inventory and wastage

Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef in a high-end restaurant or luxury hotel setting
- Culinary degree or equivalent certification preferred
- Strong leadership skills with experience in managing a team
- Passion for creating innovative dishes using local ingredients
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills with proficiency in English
- Experience working in a ski resort or mountain setting is an advantage
