Surveying Technician

As a Surveying Technician based in Herzliya, you will be responsible for assisting with land surveys and providing technical support to surveyors. Your main duties will include setting up and operating surveying equipment, taking measurements, and preparing reports and maps. You will also assist with data analysis and provide support on various survey projects.

To be successful in this role, you must have a background in surveying or a related field and be proficient in using surveying instruments such as total stations and GPS systems. You should also have strong mathematical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

This is a contract position that offers a salary of $1100 per month. As this role is open to Canadian candidates, you must be eligible to work in Israel with visa sponsorship. Accommodation will not be provided for this position.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with land surveys by setting up equipment, taking measurements, and collecting data
- Prepare reports and maps based on survey results
- Provide technical support to senior surveyors
- Conduct data analysis and assist with project planning
- Maintain equipment and ensure it is calibrated correctly
- Collaborate with team members on various survey projects
- Adhere to safety protocols at all times

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in surveying, civil engineering or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Surveying Technician or similar role
- Proficiency with surveying instruments such as total stations and GPS systems
- Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills
- Eligibility to work in Israel with visa sponsorship from Canada
