Shaper and Surfboard Repair Specialist


We are looking for a skilled and experienced Shaper and Surfboard Repair Specialist to join our team in Malindi. As a Shaper, you will be responsible for designing and shaping custom surfboards according to customer specifications. You will also be responsible for repairing damaged surfboards to ensure they are in top condition for our customers.

Responsibilities:
- Design and shape custom surfboards according to customer specifications
- Repair damaged surfboards, including cracks, dings, and broken fins
- Use a variety of tools and techniques to shape and repair surfboards
- Communicate with customers to understand their needs and preferences
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Stay updated on industry trends and new shaping techniques
- Work efficiently to meet production deadlines

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Shaper or Surfboard Repair Specialist
- Extensive knowledge of surfboard shapes, materials, and repair techniques
- Ability to use various shaping tools such as planers, sanders, rasps, etc.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Good communication skills for working with customers
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Physical fitness for handling large surfboards and standing for extended periods of time

Salary:
The salary for this position is $900 per month.

Location:
This position is located in Malindi, Kenya.

Nationality:
Preference will be given to candidates from Pakistan.

No English proficiency is required for this job.

Employment Type:
This is a part-time position.
