Senior Pastry Chef


We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Pastry Chef to join our team in Sharjah. As a Senior Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and overseeing the production of all our pastry and dessert offerings, ensuring that they meet our high standards of quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and create new pastry and dessert recipes in line with current market trends
- Oversee the production of all pastry and dessert items, ensuring consistency in taste, texture, and presentation
- Train and mentor junior pastry chefs on techniques, recipes, and kitchen safety procedures
- Maintain inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, placing orders as needed
- Monitor food costs to ensure they are within budgetary guidelines
- Collaborate with other chefs to create cohesive menus for special events or themed promotions

Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a Pastry Chef in a high-end or fine dining establishment
- Culinary degree or equivalent certification from a reputable culinary school is preferred
- Proficient in various pastry techniques including baking, chocolate work, sugar art, etc.
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations and kitchen sanitation practices
- Creative thinker with the ability to develop unique flavor combinations and visually appealing desserts
- Ability to lead and train a team while also working collaboratively with other chefs

Salary:
$900 per month (negotiable based on experience)
