Industrial Architect

An experienced Industrial Architect is needed for a contract position in Bergen, Norway. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial design and architecture, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the field. They should also possess excellent project management skills and be able to work independently as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:
- Design and develop industrial buildings, structures and facilities
- Create detailed architectural plans and blueprints
- Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
- Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and address any issues that arise
- Provide technical support and guidance to clients throughout the project lifecycle
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in building materials and techniques

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Industrial Architect
- Strong knowledge of industrial design principles, building codes, and regulations
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp or other architectural software
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

Preferred:
- Experience working on industrial projects in Norway or other Nordic countries
- Fluency in Norwegian or another Scandinavian language is a plus
