Experienced Mason

Our construction company in Jizan is seeking an experienced Mason to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience working as a Mason and must be able to communicate in English. This position does not include accommodation, so preference will be given to Indian nationals or individuals already residing in Jizan.

As a Mason, you will be responsible for building and repairing structures such as walls, floors, and roofs using different materials like bricks, concrete blocks, and natural stones. You will also need to read blueprints and follow construction plans to ensure that the structure is built according to specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lay out patterns or foundations according to blueprints or drawings
- Cut or break bricks, stones, or blocks using hammers or chisels
- Mix mortar or grout according to specifications
- Use trowels and other tools to spread and smooth mortar over the surface
- Align structures using plumb lines, chalk lines, or straightedges
- Repair cracks or damaged areas of existing structures
- Ensure that all safety protocols are followed on site
- Communicate effectively with other team members and supervisors

Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a Mason
- Proven ability to read blueprints and follow construction plans
- Strong knowledge of different materials used in masonry work
- Ability to use various tools such as hammers, chisels, trowels, etc.
- Good communication skills in English (Arabic would be an asset)
- Physically fit and able to work in various weather conditions
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently
