Excavator Operator


A reputable construction company in Washington is seeking an experienced Excavator Operator to join our team. As an Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment to excavate, move and grade earth and other materials on construction sites. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience operating excavators and must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
- Operate excavators to dig trenches, foundations, and other earthworks
- Load and unload materials onto trucks or other equipment
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment
- Comply with all safety regulations and maintain a clean work area
- Collaborate with other members of the construction team to complete projects on time and within budget
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience operating excavators
- Valid operator's license for heavy equipment
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
- Physical strength and stamina to operate heavy equipment for extended periods of time
- Good hand-eye coordination and depth perception

Preferred Skills:
- Experience in the construction industry is preferred but not required
- Willingness to travel to different job sites within Washington as needed
- Experience operating other heavy equipment such as bulldozers or loaders is a plus

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1000 per week with opportunities for overtime pay.
