Facade Engineer

We are hiring a qualified and experienced Facade Engineer to join our team in Atlanta. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years experience in the facade industry, with a strong understanding of structural design and building codes. As a Facade Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and overseeing the construction of building facades. You will also be expected to work closely with architects, contractors and other engineers to ensure successful project completion. This position requires excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:
- Designing and analyzing building facades using CAD software
- Conducting site visits to assess construction progress and address any issues that may arise
- Collaborating with architects, contractors and other engineers to ensure cohesive design solutions
- Ensuring that all designs comply with building codes and safety regulations
- Utilizing knowledge of materials such as glass, metal, and stone to create efficient designs
- Providing technical support during the construction phase
- Conducting structural calculations and preparing reports for clients

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience in facade design
- Proficient in CAD software
- Strong understanding of structural design principles
- Knowledge of local building codes
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Attention to detail

Salary:
Starting at $1200 per month
