Restaurant Manager (Filipinos Preferred) in Mombasa
Our restaurant in Mombasa is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Restaurant Manager to lead our team. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in managing a busy restaurant, preferably in a similar location.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant, including staff management, customer service, and inventory control
- Create and maintain work schedules for all staff members, ensuring adequate coverage during peak hours
- Train new employees and conduct performance evaluations for existing staff
- Monitor food quality and ensure all dishes are prepared according to company standards
- Handle customer complaints and resolve any issues in a timely and professional manner
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the restaurant
- Manage inventory levels, order supplies as needed, and keep track of expenses
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract more customers to the restaurant
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in restaurant management, preferably in a similar location
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Filipinos preferred
We offer competitive salary package of 1700$ per month along with accommodation. Biometric passport is required for foreigners.
