Surveyor Assistant


We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Surveyor Assistant to join our team in Mombasa, Kenya. As a Surveyor Assistant, you will work closely with our team of experienced surveyors to assist in the collection and analysis of data for various construction and land development projects.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in setting up and operating surveying instruments such as levels, total stations, and GPS equipment
- Collect field data using manual or electronic methods
- Conduct surveys of land and construction sites to determine measurements and boundaries
- Create maps, plans, and reports based on collected data
- Use specialized software to process and analyze collected data
- Assist in conducting research and gathering information related to specific projects
- Communicate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure accurate data collection

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework in surveying or related field preferred
- Previous experience working as a Surveyor Assistant is an asset
- Knowledge of surveying techniques, tools, and equipment
- Familiarity with CAD software is preferred
- Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions for extended periods of time
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment

Salary:
$1500 per month (negotiable based on experience)

Mombasa, Kenya

Contract Type:
This is a contract position for the duration of the project.

Housing:
Accommodation will be provided for the duration of the project.
