Android Developer


We are hiring an experienced Android Developer to join our team in Khanpur. As an Android Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality mobile applications for our clients. Your primary focus will be on the development of user interface components, implementation of app functionality, and integration with backend services. You should have a strong understanding of the full mobile development lifecycle and be able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment. This is a contract position with accommodation provided. Salary is competitive at $1100 per month.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Android app development
- Proficient in Java and Kotlin programming languages
- Hands-on experience with Android SDK and third-party libraries
- Experience with RESTful APIs and JSON data format
- Familiarity with Git version control system
- Knowledge of UX/UI design principles and Material Design guidelines
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality Android applications
- Work closely with UX/UI designers to implement intuitive user interfaces
- Integrate backend services and third-party APIs into the app
- Troubleshoot and debug issues reported by users or internal team members
- Keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in mobile development
- Collaborate with other team members to continuously improve the development process

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Knowledge of Firebase or other cloud-based services for mobile apps
- Familiarity with automated testing frameworks such as Espresso or UI Automator
- Passion for learning new technologies and ability to quickly adapt to changes
