We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Machine Learning Engineer to join our team in Alta, Norway. As a Machine Learning Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing machine learning algorithms and models to solve complex business problems. You will work closely with data scientists and software engineers to design, build, and deploy scalable and efficient machine learning solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer science, statistics, and mathematics, as well as experience with programming languages such as Python or R. This is a contract job with accommodation provided. Candidates must have their own visa to work in Norway.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement machine learning algorithms and models for various use cases.
- Collaborate with data scientists to collect, clean, and analyze large datasets.
- Work closely with software engineers to integrate machine learning solutions into existing systems.
- Optimize algorithms for performance and scalability.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in machine learning.
- Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, mathematics, statistics or related field.
- 3+ years of experience working as a Machine Learning Engineer or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of machine learning techniques such as regression, clustering, classification, etc.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R.
- Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
