Milling Machine Operator

Our company is seeking a skilled and experienced Milling Machine Operator to join our team in Zagreb. As a Milling Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining milling machines to produce high-quality precision parts according to specifications.

Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate milling machines to perform precision machining operations
- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine machine setup and production methods
- Select the appropriate tools, speeds, feeds, and cutting depths for each operation
- Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed to ensure quality standards are met
- Inspect finished parts for accuracy using precision measuring instruments
- Troubleshoot any issues that may arise during the machining process
- Maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience operating milling machines in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of machine tooling, cutting speeds, feeds, and materials
- Ability to read technical drawings and use measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, etc.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work within tight tolerances
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues independently
- Physically fit with the ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift heavy objects if necessary
