IT Manager
We are hiring an experienced IT Manager to join our growing team in Washington. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in information technology management with proven experience in leading a team and implementing new technologies. The IT Manager will be responsible for overseeing the entire IT department, managing projects, and ensuring the smooth operation of all systems and networks. This is a contract position with a salary of 1800$ per month, with accommodation provided. Candidates must have their own valid visa for work in the United States and we welcome applications from both men and women.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the IT department, including hiring, training, and supervising staff
- Develop and implement technology strategies that align with business goals
- Oversee the maintenance and security of all systems and networks
- Identify areas for improvement and implement new technologies to enhance efficiency
- Manage budgets for hardware, software, and other necessary resources
- Work closely with other departments to ensure technology solutions meet their needs
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in information technology
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in information technology management
- Hands-on experience with network administration, system security, and project management
- Strong knowledge of current technological trends and developments
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively
- Good problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
- Ability to communicate technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Information Technology or related field
- Experience working in a similar role within a multinational company
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Experience working with cloud computing technologies
- Familiarity with data privacy regulations such as GDPR
- Knowledge of agile methodologies
