We are seeking a skilled Typesetter to join our team in Los Angeles. As a Typesetter, you will be responsible for accurately setting and arranging text and images for print and digital publications. This is a contract position, perfect for an experienced typesetter looking for flexible hours and the opportunity to work remotely.

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a typesetter
- Proficient in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work quickly and accurately
- Experience working with biometric passports is preferred, but not required
- Must have a portfolio showcasing previous typesetting work

Responsibilities:
- Receive text and images from designers or clients and format them according to specific guidelines and templates
- Check for errors in spelling, punctuation, grammar, and formatting before finalizing layouts
- Work with graphic designers to ensure visual elements are properly placed within the text layout
- Collaborate with editors or clients to make any necessary changes or revisions
- Prepare final files for printing or publishing on various digital platforms

Salary:
This contract position offers a salary of $1500 per project, with the potential for bonuses based on performance.

Location:
This position is based in Los Angeles but is open to candidates from around the world who meet the job requirements. No English language skills are required.
