Contract Merchandiser in Faro, Portugal

As a Contract Merchandiser, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining product displays in retail stores in Faro. Your main duties will include setting up displays, ensuring proper product placement and rotation, and accurately restocking shelves. You will also be responsible for monitoring inventory levels and communicating with store managers to ensure optimal stock levels are maintained. The ideal candidate will have previous merchandising experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently. This is a contract position with a salary of $1700 per month. Accommodation is not provided for this role.

Responsibilities:
- Set up and maintain product displays according to company guidelines
- Ensure proper product placement and rotation to maximize sales
- Replenish stock on shelves and remove any expired or damaged products
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate with store managers to ensure proper stock levels are maintained
- Build positive relationships with store managers and staff
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing any customer inquiries or concerns

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a merchandiser or similar role
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with store managers and customers
- Ability to work independently without direct supervision
- Attention to detail and ability to follow company guidelines for product placement
- Physical ability to lift, carry, and move items up to 30 pounds
- Must be able to travel between retail stores in Faro
