Baker - Filipino Cuisine (Dickirch, Luxembourg)
We are hiring a skilled Baker to join our team in Dickirch, Luxembourg. As a Baker, you will be responsible for preparing and baking various types of Filipino breads, pastries, and desserts. Your main duties will include mixing ingredients, shaping dough, and operating baking equipment.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Baker or Pastry Chef, specializing in Filipino cuisine
- Knowledge of traditional Filipino breads and desserts
- Ability to follow recipes and measurements accurately
- Good understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
- Strong time management skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus)
- Availability to work full-time with flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
Responsibilities:
- Prepare doughs by measuring and mixing ingredients according to traditional recipes
- Shape dough into various forms such as rolls, loaves, or pastries
- Operate baking equipment such as ovens and mixers to bake goods
- Decorate pastries and desserts with icing or other toppings as needed
- Maintain cleanliness of work area and adhere to food safety standards at all times
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and order supplies as needed
- Train new staff members on baking techniques and safety procedures
Salary:
Starting salary for this position is $1700 per month. Benefits include accommodation provided by the company.
