We are seeking a talented and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at a fine dining restaurant in Akron, Ohio. As the head of our kitchen, you will be responsible for creating and executing menu items that reflect our restaurant's high standards of quality and creativity. You will oversee all aspects of the kitchen operations, including ordering ingredients, managing inventory, and ensuring food safety and sanitation standards are met.

Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as an Executive Chef in a fine dining establishment
- Extensive knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines
- Ability to create unique and innovative dishes while also maintaining classic menu items
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and manage kitchen staff
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities:
- Create menus that reflect our restaurant's culinary vision and meet customer demands
- Oversee all aspects of the kitchen operations, including food preparation, plating, presentation, and portion control
- Ensure all food is prepared according to recipes and quality standards
- Train kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and sanitation practices
- Manage inventory levels and place orders for ingredients as needed
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff on menu changes or special events
- Monitor food costs to maintain budget goals
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment
- Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate new ideas into menu offerings
