Database Administrator

The Database Administrator will be responsible for maintaining, optimizing, and securing our company's databases. They will work closely with the IT team to ensure data integrity and availability, as well as troubleshoot any database issues that may arise. The ideal candidate should have experience with database administration, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor database performance and ensure data integrity
- Perform regular backups and disaster recovery procedures
- Troubleshoot database issues and provide timely resolutions
- Optimize database performance through indexing and other techniques
- Develop and maintain database documentation and procedures
- Collaborate with the IT team to implement new databases or upgrades
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in database management

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proven experience as a Database Administrator or similar role
- Familiarity with database design, SQL queries, and stored procedures
- Knowledge of data backup, recovery, security, and integrity practices
- Experience working with relational databases such as MySQL or Oracle
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Location: Vianden

Salary: $1600 per month (negotiable)
