Entry Level Database Administrator


We are currently seeking an Entry Level Database Administrator to join our team in Vianden. As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our company's databases. This is a contract position with a salary of 1400$ per month plus benefits.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of databases
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Implement security measures to protect sensitive data
- Create and maintain backup and recovery strategies
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure data integrity and reliability
- Provide technical support to end-users as needed

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Strong knowledge of database management systems (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL)
- Familiarity with database design, performance tuning, and data migration techniques
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

Preferred qualifications:
- Experience working with cloud-based databases (AWS, Azure)
- Knowledge of programming languages such as SQL, Python, or Java
- Prior experience as a Database Administrator or related role
