Architectural Technologist


We are in search of an experienced Architectural Technologist to join our team in Washington, D.C. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1100 per month. As an Architectural Technologist, you will be responsible for assisting architects and engineers in creating and designing building plans. This role requires previous experience in the field, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with architects and engineers to develop building plans
- Use specialized software to create 2D and 3D models of buildings
- Ensure all designs comply with relevant regulations and codes
- Prepare detailed drawings and specifications for construction projects
- Conduct site visits to gather information and assess progress
- Assist with project management tasks, such as budgeting and scheduling
- Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and other team members

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience as an Architectural Technologist
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp or other design software
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate drawings
- Knowledge of building codes and regulations
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Preferred:
- Experience working on commercial or residential projects in Washington D.C.
- Familiarity with sustainable design principles
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
