Junior Accountant



We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our growing team in Akron. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with various accounting tasks such as data entry, reconciliations, and financial reporting. This is a great opportunity for a recent graduate or entry-level accountant looking to gain experience and develop their skills in the field.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily data entry of financial transactions into our accounting software
- Prepare and analyze monthly bank reconciliations
- Support the preparation of monthly financial statements
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
- Maintain accurate records of accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Collaborate with team members to ensure accuracy and completion of tasks
- Stay up-to-date on industry regulations and best practices in accounting

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software programs
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Knowledge of GAAP principles preferred

Salary:
This is a full-time position with a salary of $1100 per month.

Location:
This role is located in Akron, Ohio but we are open to remote work for the right candidate.
