Foundry Technician - Nairobi, Kenya

Our company is currently seeking a skilled Foundry Technician to join our team in Nairobi, Kenya. The ideal candidate will have experience in foundry operations and will be responsible for operating and maintaining foundry equipment, ensuring quality control of products, and following safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate various foundry equipment such as furnaces, molds, and casting machines
- Monitor production processes and make adjustments as needed to ensure quality control
- Inspect finished products for defects and make repairs or adjustments as needed
- Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment
- Maintain clean and organized work area
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform routine maintenance as needed
- Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience in foundry operations
- Ability to read technical drawings and follow instructions accurately
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects in finished products
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to casting operations
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
