Pastry Chef
We are currently hiring a skilled and creative Pastry Chef to join our team in Alta, Norway. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and preparing delicious desserts, pastries, and baked goods for our restaurant. Our ideal candidate is passionate about pastry making and has a strong knowledge of different baking techniques.
Responsibilities:
- Create and prepare a variety of desserts, pastries, and baked goods according to recipes or your own original creations
- Monitor food supplies and order ingredients as needed
- Manage inventory and keep stock of all pastry items
- Ensure high-quality presentation of all pastry products
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the pastry section in the kitchen
- Train junior chefs on pastry making techniques
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to develop new dessert menus
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of different baking techniques and methods
- Creative mind with an ability to come up with new ideas for desserts and pastries
- Attention to detail and excellent time management skills
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting
Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1400$ per month for this position.
