Head Chef in Manama, Bahrain
Are you a talented Chef with a passion for creating delicious dishes? Our luxury restaurant in Manama is seeking a skilled Head Chef to lead our culinary team. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen, including menu planning, food preparation, and managing kitchen staff. Your creativity and expertise will be crucial in maintaining our high standards of quality and presentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create innovative menus that appeal to our diverse clientele
- Manage inventory and ensure proper stock levels
- Ensure food quality and safety standards are met at all times
- Train and supervise kitchen staff to ensure consistency and efficiency
- Collaborate with management to develop cost-effective pricing strategies
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Monitor food costs and make necessary adjustments to maintain profitability
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in a fine dining establishment
- Excellent knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Creativity and ability to develop unique dishes while staying within budget constraints
Qualifications:
- Culinary degree or equivalent certification preferred
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a Head Chef
- Knowledge of Bahraini cuisine is preferred but not required
- Fluent in English (Arabic is an asset)
Salary: 1400$ per month (tax-free)
