Part-Time Land Surveyor in Funchal, Madeira


We are seeking a part-time Land Surveyor to join our team in Funchal, Madeira. As a Land Surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting surveys and collecting data on various land sites for construction, development, or engineering projects. This is a part-time position with flexible hours and includes accommodation and visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct surveys of land sites using specialized equipment such as GPS, total stations, and laser scanners
- Collect data on topography, soil conditions, existing structures, and other relevant information
- Create maps and drawings of survey data using computer-aided design (CAD) software
- Analyze survey data to ensure accuracy and make any necessary adjustments
- Communicate with project managers and other team members to coordinate survey activities
- Adhere to safety protocols while working on site
- Maintain accurate records of survey data for future reference

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Surveying or related field preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience in land surveying
- Proficiency in CAD software and other surveying tools/equipment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze data accurately
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Familiarity with local land laws and regulations in Funchal preferred
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Must have valid work permit for Madeira or be eligible for visa sponsorship

Salary:
The salary for this part-time position is $1200 per month.
