Executive Chef - Muscat, Oman
We are hiring an experienced Executive Chef to join our team in Muscat, Oman. As the head of our kitchen, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of food preparation and production. Your role will involve creating menus, sourcing ingredients, maintaining food quality standards, and leading a team of chefs and kitchen staff.
Responsibilities:
- Develop menus that are unique and innovative while still meeting budgetary requirements
- Source high-quality ingredients from local suppliers
- Ensure all food is prepared and presented in accordance with established quality standards
- Train and manage a team of chefs and kitchen staff to maintain a high level of productivity
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Oversee food preparation and production to ensure timely service
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen at all times
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a fine dining establishment
- Excellent knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Ability to create unique menus that showcase creativity while meeting budgetary requirements
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team to meet goals and objectives
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to food preparation
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Salary: 900$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
